Baseball Kickoff
Cottonwood Youth Baseball will kick off its season on Sunday, May 23rd with their annual Opening Day. Each team in the league will be playing with the Feature Game being a boys vs. girls affair later in the afternoon. Babe Ruth team to start play The Prairie Babe Ruth team has 15 players this year and will start play Tuesday. Sunday they will take part in the Cottonwood Youth Sports Opening Ceremony at the Wimer Fields. Players this year are Josh Roeper, Garrett Schmidt, Marcus Higgins, Kade Perrin, Chris Bradley, Nick Shears, Casey Danly, Gregory Hattrup, John M. Mager, Jacob Briggs, Tyler Hankerson, Clark Bruno, Brady Toothaker, Jake Bruner and Calvin Hinkelman.
