Still room for teams at Golf Scramble
Planners for the July 25th St. Mary’s Hospital Foundation 11th Annual Golf Scramble say there is room for a few more teams.
“We can accommodate 16 teams so we still have openings for this fun annual event,” said Jim May, SMHC Development Director.  “Teams or individuals can register in advance by calling, (208) 962-2327 or they can register the afternoon of the event. There are lots of prizes and a nice dinner for participants.  Each participant is also encouraged to invite a guest to the dinner.”
The event is scheduled for Sunday, July 25 at the Grangeville Golf and Country Club.  Registration begins at 2:00 p.m. with a 3:00 p.m. start time.
The entry fee of $55 per player includes greens fee, a dinner, non alcoholic beverages plus the additional dinner for a player’s guest.  Teams registered for the 18 hole scramble must have a minimum combined team handicap of 55 and only one player per team can have a handicap of 12 or less.  Each team must use every player’s drive at least twice.
“We use the scramble format so everyone is guaranteed a good time.  To add to the fun we are offering two hole-in-one competitions with $10,000 prizes,” said May.
Our other competitions include prizes for a tee shot within six feet of the 9th and 18th holes and monetary prizes for first, second and third places.
Proceeds become part of a legacy endowment that will benefit the hospital for years to come.  To register or for more information call the Foundation office, (208) 962-2327. The entry fee or sponsor donation can be paid by check, money order or by credit card.
