Bräts and Brew Fest was a huge success
The 2nd annual Bräts and Brew Fest was a huge success due to participation from a large number of people and businesses.  There were two Commercial sausage entries, Western Meats and Sonnen Meats.  Sonnen Meats was the winner.  Lyle Kuther won the individual sausage competition over four other competitors.  Shirley Gehring won the side dish category out of four entries.   Two people entered the bread category.  Corinne Raquet took the honors there.  Four people entered desserts and Linda Chaffee came out on top.  They all did a great job.  Everything was very tasty. Jim Schumacher did a good job as auctioneer, and made it fun for all.
We enjoyed the music of  Mary Kay Jungert on her keyboard.  Zeke Williams did a good job as DJ. All had a good time celebrating our German heritage.  We are planning Bräts and Brew Fest for next fall and we hope you all are planning to come.
