to Santa via ham radio
On Saturday, December 4, 2010, from 1:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m., there will be a special local ham radio event. The members of the local ham radio clubs – A.R.E.S. (Amateur Radio Emergency Services), 3 Rivers Amateur Radio Club, Camas Prairie ARC and Clearwater ARC – have been in contact with Santa Claus! Santa has agreed to take an afternoon out of his terribly busy schedule to talk to you! Kids from 1 – 99 will be able to talk to Santa at the North Pole via ham radios! Special stations for this event will be set up at the following locations: Cloningers Harvest Foods in Kamiah Midway Foods in Nezperce Barney’s in Orofino Zip Trip in Grangeville. |
