ROCKS! update
Every once in a while it’s fun to do something different in the classroom, so on March 7th & 8th we took a break from having a speaker, and chose to watch the movie “A Walk to Remember.” This is a wonderful movie based on the best seller written by Nicholas Sparks. Our class was able to discuss how trust, hope, goals, faith and unconditional love are remarkable steps in changing a life. With these as our foundation, we too can begin to make changes that will help us become the best version of ourselves. All of this provides a lead in to challenge the students to make every effort this Lenten Season to take time to get to know Christ a little better and to strive to become more like him. Next Monday, March 14 we are pleased to have Rene Forsmann as our guest speaker. Community members are welcome to join us at the High School PEACE Building at 8:20 or 9:20.
