From the Library
The Library will be closed Saturday, July 2nd. due to the long 4th of July week end.  Normal hours will resume on Tuesday, July 5th..  The NEW SUMMER HOURS will be Tuesday and Thursday  10 am. to 5:30 pm.  Saturday hours are 10 am to 1 pm.  We hope the public will take advantage of the extended time to accommodate their needs.
The Summer Reading program is in it's third week and very well attended.  Joe Reiner was the guest speaker last week and told of his travels while serving with the United States Air Force for 20 years.
If you have not visited the library and enjoyed the paintings of the late Peg Uhlorn, this is the last week to do.
A wall display commem-orating Independence Day will be featured next week.
There are many new arrivals now on the shelves for your reading enjoyment as each week the volunteers have been busy entering a variety of new books into the system.
If the price of gas is keeping your family from vacationing this summer, take that vacation via the library for a book can take you many places.  Have a safe Fourth of July.
