Library News
It was a busy week at the Library even though school has started and harvest is in full swing.  It proves that people enjoy a good book and reading never takes a vacation.  If there is a book that you would enjoy let the library know and we will try to get it for you.   A reminder:  The internet is available and we encourage patrons to use it.  The copy machine is also available, however, one of the first things on our "want list" is a new copy/fax machine so look for that in the near future.  Check out the new book arrivals that are now on display with many more to be added.
Be sure to reserve November 5th for that special night out while supporting an important public service to the community.   This is the date of the third annual Brats and Brew festival.  Participants are encouraged to start thinking of that special German recipe that will take home honors in the competition.  And for you "home brewers" please share your talents with us.  Suggestions on how to make this event even better will be welcomed by the library board and volunteer workers will be most appreciated.
This year there will be live music by the Coffey Twins and the Satins.  Although this band is not familiar to this area it is popular through out the North West and guarantees a wonderful time dancing or just listening to the sounds of the 50' s and 60' s  featuring songs recorded by Elvis, the Beach Boys  and many others.   Delicious Food, Great Music with a fun filled evening.  What a wonderful way to celebrate fall here on the prairie.
