Library News
Happy Fall, Ya'all!  It's almost kraut making time for the Bräts and Brew. Is everyone out there thinking about which sausage or beer recipe to use?  And don't forget the other dishes that make this event so tasteful.  A sincere appreciation to all who have responded so promptly with your membership dues and quilt ticket sales.  This community is awesome.
If you have not had the opportunity to stop by the Library and admire the paintings by artist, Sharon Eckert, please take time to do so, it is well worth it.
We have not an influx of people scrambling to get in line for the Star Trex series that was mentioned in last weeks article or for the "almost new", books that are needing a home.  If there is no interest they will be removed from the Library along with the VCR and cassette tapes..
New arrivals this week are:  THE HELP, by Kathryn Stockett, WATER FOR ELEPHANTS, by Sara Gruen,  THE JOY OF FEARING GOD, by Jerry Bridges and STORIES FROM THE BIG DOG CHAIR, by a local author, Pastor Bradley Bramlet of Lewiston, who grew up in Craigmont.  And for the kids, a brand new WHERE'S WALDO book.  The old one just had to go.  For you enthusiasts of romance novels and other paper back , the Library is now offering an exchange system.  If you would like to bring in your book(s) and exchange for the same amount from the rack at the library we would welcome that.  But, you MUST take as many as you bring and more if you want.
Question of the week!  Is there an interest in the community to form a Book Club?  Please contact the Library at 962-3714.  If no answer leave a message, your name and phone number.
