Library News
It was rather a quiet week at the Library which gave the volunteers an opportunity to complete some projects that had been waiting to be done.
It was decided to establish areas to be designated, local authors, northwest authors, Idaho history etc. This has meant moving books sometimes out of Dewey Decimal order and placing them on the appropriate shelf.  The patrons are quite receptive to this arrangement so it is well worth the extra time it takes.  It was a welcome surprise recently when the Library received a check from Pacific Steel and Recycling in the sum of $87.55 for aluminum and steel recycled by an anonymous person in the Library's name.  You know who you are, so kudos to you from all of us
Committees are being formed and arrangements being made for the Bräts and Brew November 5. Tickets are now available at the Library or from a board member.  The cost is $15.00 which includes the dance with live music by the Coffey Twins and the Satins.  Only 200 tickets will be sold so don't wait too long.  Entry forms for the competition are also available at the library.  There will be no wine category this year for lack of participants.  A salad category has been added to the food items.  Start testing those special recipes to be a first place winner.  The response to the Quilt ticket sale, to be given away at the B&B, has been well received and very much appreciated.  .
Many have visited the Library to view the display by artist, Sharon Kelly Eckert.  This display will be removed next week so if you have not yet been in, please do so.    The stairways to the Library had welcome visitors recently when Debbie Chicane and her Time Release youth group spent their class time cleaning them.  Good Job Kids.
