Library News
Another week closer to the 3rd Annual Bräts and Brew festival.  Only 200 tickets are for sale, Entry forms are available, Flyers are going up around the community and businesses are being  approached to be sponsors. The committee is visiting those merchants who were not asked for donations last year.  Once again the names of these sponsors will be advertised through various means and on KORT near event time.  For information or questions contact 962-8691, 962-3561 or the Library at 962-3714 and  if no answer, leave a message.
A reminder:  The Coffey Twins and the Satins from Newport WA. will be here to provide some wonderful music for your listening and dancing pleasure.  A fun filled evening is guaranteed.
It was business as usual at the Library last week.  The highlight was on Thursday when a delightful group of 18 people met to discuss and plan the upcoming 150 year celebration of Cottonwood.  The exchange of history and memories of people and what made this community the great place it is, was wonderful.  If you have family history or stories to tell, contact Debra Clark so your legacy can be preserved.  Better yet, come to the library and join the group to help make this a very special celebration.
Quote for the week:  My interest is in the future because I am going to spend the rest of my life there. Charles F. Kettering.
