is recycling weekend
Recycling will be Saturday November 19th at the new site in Grangeville on Day Road. From Highway 95 into Grangeville, turn left onto the Grangeville Truck Route then immediately left onto Day road. Day Road is directly across from the Depot Truck Stop/Gas Station. Recycling in Kooskia will be on Sunday November 20th at the same site for this month, 4th Avenue near the City Park. Recycling on both days is from 9A.M to 3 P.M. Idaho County patrons may continue to recycle cardboard at Cash and Carry Grocery Store in Grangeville between 6:00 and 7:00 P.M. on Wednesdays (Please flatten all large boxes). Please help the site volunteers by flattening your plastic. Plastic bottles that have openings that are smaller than the bottom are accepted. Please remove and discard all lids and remove labels from metal cans. All cans and plastic should be rinsed before bringing them to the recycle sites. Also, please flatten any cardboard that is brought to the recycle site. ICR needs donations, labor, equipment and more volunteers to assist in getting the permanent bins ready for use.
