parade is Dec. 18
The Greater Cottonwood Chamber of Commerce held its November meeting Thursday, November 10 with a new slate of officers presented for 2012. Greg Wherry will be president with Catherine Feher as vice president and Deb Clark as treasurer. They are still in need of a secretary. The annual lighted Christmas Parade will be Sunday, December 18 with lineup set for 4:30 p.m. at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church parking lot. The parade is set to start at 5 p.m. Once he gets through the parade Santa Claus will set up at the Cottonwood Fire Station. Also the Library will have a story hour from 3 to 4 p.m. Some of the downtown businesses will also be open that afternoon. Jay Hinterlong did a presentation for Idaho County Recycling. They would really like to find a site in Cottonwood. In the webpage report Rick Johnson left word that the Chamber webpage (http://www.cottonwoodidaho.org) is nearing 25,000 hits. The next meeting of the Chamber is set for Thursday, December 8 at 11:30 a.m. at the Library. |
