Cereal School set for Greencreek
The Prairie Area Cereal School is slated for Thursday, Feb. 2 at the Greencreek Community Hall.
Registration along with coffee and donuts begins at 7:45 a.m., with the program beginning at 8:15 a.m. The agenda includes a selection of topics about cereal production systems including variety information, insect management, and weed research. Reports will be presented by the Idaho Wheat Commission, the Idaho Barley Commission and the Idaho Grain Producers Association.
The sponsored lunch is prepared by the Greencreek Altar Society and is sponsored by the Idaho Wheat Commission and the Idaho Barley Commission. The Idaho Pea and Lentil Commission is sponsoring the hall rental this year. Two pesticide recertification credits and six CCA credits will be available. Please preregister no later than Monday, January 30th, by providing your name and phone number to lewis@uidaho.edu or call 208-937-2311 or your local UI Extension Office.
All producers, spouses, agri-support personnel and other interested people are welcome and encouraged to attend.
