Riener and Schaeffer are double winners at WPL meet
Demetria Riener and MaKayla Schaeffer each won two events at the White Pine League meet Tuesday, April 24 at Lapwai.
Riener won the shot put with a mark of 31’9” and the discus at 84’4” while Schaeffer won the long jump at 15’7” and the triple jump at 33’5”.
Also winning an event was Dylon Bruegeman in the 3200 with a time of 11:48.47 and the girls 4x400 relay team of Keely Schmidt, Claire Whitley, Shelby VonBargen and Schaeffer in a time of 4:28.46.Josh Roeper set a PR in the shot last week. He’s shown at Kamiah.
Brandi Gehring took 2nd in the high jump at 4’6” and was 5th in the 100 hurdles at 18.62 and 9th in the 200 at 31.22.
Heidi Holubetz was 2nd in the shot put at 29’0” and 5th in the discus at 75’1”. 
Taylor Heitman was 2nd in the discus at 84’3” and 10th in the shot put at 24’8”.
Schmidt was 3rd in the high jump at 4’4”.
Abi Chmelik was 4th in the pole vault at 6’6”.
Natasha Gimmeson was 22nd in the 100 at 15.21, 16th in the 200 at 32.68 and 13thin the long jump at 11’7”.
Kellie Heitman was 11th in the 200 at 31.25, 23rd in the 100 at 15.25 and 17th in the long jump at 10’10”.
Rachel Falzon was 17th in the 200 at 33.37; 11th in the 100 hurdles in 20.97, 24th in the 100 in 15.52 and 14th in the long jump at 11’6½”.
Whitley was 6th in the 300 hurdles in 55.82 and 8th in the long jump at 13’4”.
Jessi Riener was 12th in the shot put at 23’2½” and 19th in the discus at 52’2”.
Beth Dinning was 9th in the discus at 68’0” and 21st in the shot at 20’2”.
The medley relay team of Schmidt, Gehring, VonBargen and Chmelik was 2nd in 2:08.48.
The 4x100 team of Kellie Heitman, VonBargen, Gimmeson and Chmelik was 5th in 57.96.
As a team the girls placed 2nd with 109 points behind Troy.
For the boys team Josh Roeper had a personal best of 41’6” to take second in the shot put. He was 23rd in the discus at 79’5” and 19th in the 200 in 26.86.
Marcus Higgins was 2nd in the triple hump at 37’8” and 8th in the 400 at 58.53.
Troy Lorentz was 3rd in the long jump at 17’10” and 5th in the high jump at 5’4”.
Justin Ross was 2nd in the 1600 at 5:07.37 and 6th in the 800 in 2:21.50.
Peter Spencer was 3rd in the 1600 in 5:24.25, 12th in the long jump at 15’10½” and 27th in the 100 in 13.13.

Dally Ratcliff was 11th in the 800 in 2:37.59; 11th in the 300 hurdles in 59.04 and 9th in the triple jump at 28’3”.
Tyler Hankerson was 7th in the high jump at 5’0” and 15th in the 200 in 26.43.
Torin Dalgliesh was 13th in the shot at 34’2” and 29th in the discus at 74’5”.
Wise Kittithakorn was 17th in the 100 in 12.74 and 14th in the 400 at 1:00.60.
Nathan McElroy was 17th in the 400 in 1:07.79; 29th in the 100 in 13.31 and 24th in the 200 in 28.17.
Garrett Schmidt was 15th in the shot put at 33’2”, 18th in the discus at 84’10”, 32nd in the 100 in 13.67 and 26th in the 200 in 28.59.
Dakota Wilson was 22nd in the 200 in 27.60.
Mason Dalgliesh was 16th in the long jump at 14’5” and 30th in the 100 in 13.37.
Austin Sonnen was 31st in the 200 in 29.66 and 36th in the 100.
Kyle Uhlenkott was 16th in the discus at 87’0” and 28th in the shot put at 29’3”.
Westin Crenshaw was 25th in the discus at 78’1” and 30th in the shot at 27’6”.
Lucas Arnzen was 11th in the 200 in 26.03.
The 4x200 relay team of Wilson, Lorentz, Higgins and Arnzen placed 2nd in the 1:42.56.
The 4x100 team of Wilson, Lorentz, Hankerson and Arnzen placed 3rd in 49.60.
The 4x400 team of Hankerson, Arnzen, Higgins and Wilson placed 3rd in 4:06.53.
The medley team of Mason Dalgliesh, Torin Dalgliesh, Cody Schumacher and Ratcliff placed 4th in 4:42.17.
As a team the boys placed 3rd with 85 points behind Troy and Nezperce.

Schaeffer wins at Nez Perce/Lewis & Clark Games
MaKayla Schaeffer was Prairie’s lone event winner at the Nez Perce/Lewis & Clark Games at Kamiah Friday, April 27th.
She won both the long jump at 15’4” and the triple jump at 33’1¾”.Exchange student Wise Kittithakorn and Dylon Bruegeman in the 3200. At right is Troy Lorentz who was competing in the high jump.
Demetria Riener placed 2nd in the shot put at 31’8” and 7th in the discus at 83’11”.
Brandi Gehring was 3rd in the high jump at 4’4”, 8th in the 100 hurdles in 18.9 and 12th in the 200 in 31.4.
Top finisher for the boys team was Peter Spencer who was 2nd in the 1600 in 5:05.08. He was also 10th in the long jump at 16’5” and 23rd in the 100 in 13.05.
Justin Ross was 3rd in both the 800 at 2:31.4 and the 1600 in 5:09.2.
Dylon Bruegeman was 3rd in the 3200 in 11:45.41 and 13th in the 400 in 1:05.35.
Troy Lorentz was 3rd in the high jump at 5’2” and 5th in the long jump at 18’0”.
Other girls results:
Sydney Glimp was 7th in the 800 in 2:53.6 and 17th in the 200 in 32.8.
Natasha Gimmeson was 15th in the 100 in 14.9, 14th in the 200 in 31.8 and 10th in the long jump at 12’5”.
Kellie Heitman was 15th in the 200 at 32.0 and 15th in the long jump at 11’9”.
Heidi Holubetz was 6th in the shot put at 29’4” and 8th in the discus at 80’2”.
Taylor Heitman was 6th in the discus at 88’5” and 11th in the shot at 26’0”.
Beth Dinning was 10th in the discus at 71’6” and 20th in the shot at 17’4”.
Jessi Riener was 12th in the shot at 23’8” and 17th in the discus at 57’5”.
The 4x200 relay of Keely Schmidt, Claire Whitley, Shelby VonBargen and Schaeffer was 2nd in 1:57.3.
The same group made up the 4x400 team that placed 4th in 4:32.0.

Austin Sonnen was 12th in the 400 in 1:03.56; 25th in the 100 in 13.2 and 22nd in the 200 in 28.2.
Mason Dalgliesh was 27th in the 100 in 13.3 and 14th in the long jump at 14’11”.
Nathan McElroy was 15th in the 400 in 1:09.82; 18th in the 200 in 27.7 and 34th in the 100 in 14.1.
Dakota Wilson was 14th in the 200 in 27.1.
Wise Kittithakorn was 8th in the 3200 in 14:21.4 and ran in the 1600 but no time was available.
Dally Ratcliff was 4th in the 800 in 2:43.3, 8thin the 300 hurdles in 59.20 and 11th in the triple jump at 28’11”.
Josh Roeper was 8th in the shot put at 38’10” and 23rd in the discus at 83’8”.
Kyle Uhlenkott was 17th in the discus at 91’3” and 23rd in the shot at 32’0”.
Torin Dalgliesh was 26th in the shot put at 30’7” and 25th in the discus at 80’4”.
Westin Crenshaw was 33rd in the shot at 27’7” and 30th in the discus at 76’9”.
Tyler Hankerson was 7th in the high jump at 5’2”.
The 4x200 relay team of Wilson, Lorentz, Higgins and Arnzen was 5th in 1:43.4.
The 4x400 team of Hankerson, Arnzen, Higgins and Wilson was 3rd in 3:55.9.
The medley team of Mason Dalgliesh, Torin Dalgliesh, Sonnen and Ratcliff was 5th in 4:44.5.
The 4x100 team of Wilson, Lorentz, Higgins and Arnzen was 6th in 49.3. A second squad made up of Dalgliesh, Dalgliesh, McElroy and Hankerson was 10th in 52.4.
As a team the boys finished 4th out of 10 teams with 65.5 points.
