is employee of th emonth
“When the Customer Service team received 6 nominations for Bev Wilsey to be the next Employee of the Month it was a pretty easy decision to award her that honor,” commented Cheri Holthaus; Chairman of the Customer Service Team. “We have never had an employee receive that many nominations before, so we knew that she most certainly must deserve the award.”
Just a few of the comments which were stated on the nomination forms were; “Should have a brick in the building named after her; she has been the heart of the Kamiah Clinic for years. Bev has been the epitome of the dedicated employee to the Kamiah clinic. She always has the wellbeing of the patient and her coworker at the for-front of her mind. She is a great ambassador for our hospital and clinics. Bev cares about the work she does, always willing to learn and always willing to help others. Bev has a listening ear for her fellow employees to help and encourage them and is a team player to help make our organization a success.”
Bev Wilsey has worked for the SMH Kamiah Clinic for the past 32 years. She began her career working at the front desk and is finishing her career as a coder; Bev will be retiring in June.
“I love coding and it was always a challenge and a great learning experience,” said Wilsey. “It was a hard decision to make to retire but I’m looking forward to it. It will difficult to leave my co-workers as they have really become more like family.”
When asked about her hobbies; Bev stated she likes spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchild; which is something we will be able to do more of once she is retired.
The entire staff of SMH and Clinics would like to thank Bev for all her hard work and dedication over the years and want to wish her the best with her retirement.
