87 participate in Fun Run/Walk
There were 87 participants in the Raspberry Festival Fun Run/Walk.
45 of those participated in the 5K walk with Cindy Algeo of Coeur d’Alene finishing first overall in a time of 38:11. 
Mikel Stevenson of Newman Lake, Wash., was the first male finisher with a time of 42:47.
In the age group categories a daughter of James O’Connell of Spokane, age 7, took first in the 1 to 10 year old group with a time of 47:13.
Addie Tappen of Twin Falls, age 11, took first in the 11-20 year old group with a time of 50:17.
Whitney Westhoff  of Greencreek as first in the 21-30 year old women’s age group with a time of 52:25.
Mrs. James O’Connell of Spokane was first in the 31-40 year old women’s group in a time 47:12.
Sharon Schaeffer of Cottonwood was first in the women’s 41-50 year old group in 52:25.
Algeo took first in the women’s 51-60 year old group.
Debbie McCulley of Boise was first in the women’s 61-70 year old group in a time of 55:38.
In the men’s 21-30 year old group Stuart Robertson of Craigmont was first in a time of 1:03:49.
In the men’s 41-50 year old group Dan Lynch of Kooskia was first in 56:43.
In the men’s 51-60 year old group Jim Severson of Craigmont was first in 52:25.
In the men’s 61-70 year old group Stevenson was in the time listed above.
In the 71 and over group David Klinefield of Meridian was first in 55:39.
There were 14 competitors in the 10K run with Kaleb Bass of White Bird, age 18, taking first in 44:16. The top female finisher was Melinda Wimer of Kamiah with a time of 47:33, good for 3rd overall.
In the women’s 21-30 year old group Toni Shears of Cottonwood was first in 1:06:53. Wimer was first in the women’s 31-40 year old group.
Megan Wilson of Nezperce was first in the women’s 41-50 year old group in 59:36.
Bobbie Shobe of Kooskia was first in the 51-60 year old group in 1:06:00.
Sue Dryg of Grangeville was first in the women’s 61-70 year old group in 58:37.
Bass was first in the 11-20 year old men’s group followed by second overall finisher Justin Ross of Cottonwood who had a time of 47:23.
Jared Nau of Lewiston was first in the men’s 21-30 year old group in 1:21:11.
Joseph Jayo of Twin Falls was first in the men’s 41-50 year old group in 57:16.
Bill Shobe of Kooskia was first in the men’s 51-60 year old group in 1:05:11.
The 5K run had 28 competitors with Cato Valanda of Lewiston finishing 1st overall in 20:15. Sarah (Sonnen) Remacle of Riverton, Wyoming was the top overall female with a time of 27:23. She was 5th overall.
In the girls 1-10 year old age group a 9 year old daughter of James O’Connell of Spokane took first with a time of 32:15. (Apparently the James O’Connell family all signed in under his name).
In the women’s 11-20 year old group Woods (no first name provided) of Portland, age 11, was first in 42:02.
Remacle took first in the women’s 31-40 year old group.
Karen Mullikan of Clarkston was first in the women’s 41-50 year old group in 28:22.
Debroah Conrad of Kooskia was first in the women’s 51-60 year old age group.
Kyle Frei of Grangeville, age 10, was first in the boys 1-10 year old age group in 29:10.
Valandra of Lewiston was first in the 11-20 year old group.
Wilcox of Kamiah, (no first name provided) was first in the men’s 31-40 year old group in 30:54.
Bryan Mullikin of Clarkston was first in the men’s 41-50 year old age group in 24:46.
