Cross workday scheduled
A workday is scheduled for Holy Cross Chapel in Keuterville on Friday, September 14th. This day also marks the feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross. The afternoon's efforts will begin at 4 pm and continue until 6:30, when Fr. Paul will offer Mass and conclude the activities of this special feast day. Everyone is welcome to join. Friday is the last workday that will focus on the interior of the chapel. The final 2012 Holy Cross workday will be held in mid-October. Its purpose will be to get the outside grounds cleaned up and ready to come alive again in the spring. A very, very special thank you goes out to all the people who helped at the last workday in July, particularly the Camas Livestock 4-H Club. Their entire club came and worked for over an hour with the rest of our devoted crew, washing and oiling pews, alters, and other woodwork. Fr. Paul was also a special help, giving guidance and insight into how we can continue our care for Holy Cross Chapel. To everyone: Thank you! |
