Time to start thinking about Bräts and Brew Fest
Time to start thinking about your entry for the fourth Annual Bräts and Brew Fest. It is only a few weeks away. Mark your calendar for Saturday November 3. If you are not aware, the Prairie Community Library is a “stand alone entity” receiving no tax revenue. This event is the main source of funding for the library.
Get your recipe books out and find that special dish that will win your category. Do not forget the homemade “Brew” or “Brät” competition.
Only with community participation will it be successful. For your listening or dancing pleasure, the Coffee Twins and the Satins will be returning once again to provide music from the 60’s and 70’s. Only 200 tickets will be printed and will soon be available. Table reservation for your group is available upon request. Stay tuned for further updates.
Stop by the Library Thursday or Saturday during the city wide Sidewalk sale and see the nice selection of books that are available
These are donated duplicates, reasonably priced, and in like new condition. They would make great gifts for the reader on your Christmas list. While there remember to visit the “gallery” and enjoy the paintings by our featured artist, Kenzie Rieman.
