Established in 2007, the WAA High School Awards program was started by the Warrior Athletic Association as a means to congratulate and encourage regional high school athletes, teams, coaches, and volunteers on their efforts and accomplishments. The program places a special amount of emphasis on the Meritorious Award, a category which has helped highlight and thank a number of unsung high school volunteers and supporters.
Major sponsors of the event are Lewis & Clark Orthopaedic Institute, Kendall Chevrolet, Pepsi, and Potlatch No. 1 Federal Credit Union. For more information visit www.lcsc.edu/athletics/WAA/hs-awards
