Library News
Please give serious consideration to entering the Bräts and Brew food competition this year. Whether it is the BRäTS, the BREW or the SIDE DISH, it is the competition that makes it fun and the crowd that makes it a success. See you there November 3rd.
The Chamber’s fall decorating contest is well underway and the town is taking on a new face lift. There is an eye catching display on Lewiston Street. See if you can find it.
Last week I failed to thank the anonymous donor who left aluminum cans at recycling in the Library’s name. We appreciate these donations. This also includes the used printer cartridges that are brought to the library where we trade them to Staples for credit. That has provided many useful items to the library also. Thank you to all who remember the library and the needs.
While on the subject of donations, Stacie Milliman has generously donated her time removing the worn children’s books from the shelves. They will be replaced and new books will also be added.  Thanks Stacie that is such a big help.
A reminder for each of you to search your cupboards for Campbell soup labels, this is the time of year the schools are collecting them. If you are coming to the library bring them along or drop them in the box out back and we see they get them. Also if you go on line to WWW.GreenGiantFresh.com then type the Bonus Code 8EJ883795U49 this will lend extra support toward new playground equipment for the designated elementary school. For more information contact the schools.
