Library News
Have you purchased your tickets for the Annual Bräts and Brew Library Fund Raiser?   November 3rd is fast approaching. Call the Library at 962-3714 for more information as tickets are going fast and only 200 will be sold. Table reservations are also available.
Contestants are needed to make this a success; entry forms are also available at the library. Cash prizes are available for the winners. If you have donations that have not been picked up or mailed please notify the library. If you have not attended this event in the past you are missing out on a great evening of fun and entertainment. A live auction will follow the dinner and very good music by the Coffey Twins and the Satins will complete the evening.
Last week I mentioned a reserved table for parties of one, for lack of a better name.  Someone said that would be called the “Captains” table.  Since we have no Captains in the library I suppose it would be called the “Librarian’s” table. You make the call but it is a table for the gal’s (or guys) who want to attend but hesitate to come alone. There was positive feed-back last year. Give it a try; you will be glad you did.
Only the daily activities are happening at the library right now as all volunteers are busy with their assigned duties related to the fund raiser.
Note: The Library will not be open on Saturday November 3rd.
The Children’s reading hour has been put on hold for lack of response. Only two people replied to the questionnaire so if you are interested please call the library.
If you have not been in to enjoy the art work by Kenzie Rieman, please do so as it will be replaced soon.
A reminder: Internet and fax service is now available to the public.  Copies may be made for a small fee.
