Girl Scouts hold bridging ceremony
On October 8th Cottonwood Girl Scout Troop 3785 held a bridging ceremony.  A total of 5 girls completed the requirements to advance to the next scouting level.  Chloe Rowland bridged from being a Daisy Girl Scout to become a Brownie.  We also had four Brownie Girl Scouts who bridged to the Junior level; they include Audrey Drake, Rachael Gimmeson, Leann Lightfield, and Madison Shears.  At the present time we have 10 girls in our troop and new girls are always welcome.  The Girl Scout year starts in October but girls can join at any time.  If you have questions about the program you can call either Heather Lightfield 208-816-1452 or Shari Chaffee 962-3559.

2nd year Girl Scouts Anna Everson, Josie Remacle and Trinity Martinez await Daisy Chloe Rowland to cross over the ceremony bridge and become a 1st year Brownie. Heather Lightfield presents the special ceremony.

2nd year Junior Girl Scout Ciara Chaffee is waiting at the end of the crossing over bridge to greet Madison Shears, Audrey Drake, Leann Lightfield and Rachael Gimmeson as 1st year Junior Girl Scouts. Leader Heather Lightfield is leading the ceremony.

Ciara Chaffee, Rachael Gimmeson, Leann Lightfield, Madison Shears, Anna Everson, Audrey Drake, Chloe Rowland and Josie Remacle show off their new vests and badges. Martina Everson, our Ambassador Girl Scout was not present at the ceremony but received recognition for her leadership. Story and additional photos on page 5. Photos by Shari Chaffee.
