Library news
A PRAIRIE THANK YOU to the HANG OUT for once again preparing and serving a delicious Thanksgiving Dinner in this community for those who were alone or unable to prepare a meal or just wanted to eat out. Over 100 people gathered to enjoy this special event and it was very appreciated by everyone who attended. Donations received were passed on to local charities in need. Thanks, Debbie and Ron.  What a great way to begin the holiday season.
It was a very quiet week at the Library so news is very sparse.
Due to illness, the Library will be closed on Saturday. There is a definite need for more volunteers. There is also a variety of jobs that need attention. If you have some spare time or just need a break from the same routine, contact the library. There is something for everyone.
A new order of books arrived and among them is Karen Kingsbury’ newest publication “Sunrise“. It is the first book in her new series and picks up where her bestselling “Redemption” series left off.
The “Artist of the month” wall is being prepared for the next exhibit.
Thank you to Kenzie Rieman for letting us feature her delightful paintings. There will be a new display soon.
Remember: The new Library hours are from 10 am to 5pm.
