Blood drive set for Jan. 29
Our next blood drive is scheduled for January 29th-if at all possible please consider giving your employees time off to donate.  Also; please talk to your family and friends and ask them to donate as well.   Due to bad weather this has been a tough collection month for Idaho; 4 blood drives have been cancelled and several closed early. It is very important that the rest of the blood drives come in as close to or over the goal as possible.
Snow and bitterly cold weather has caused the cancellation or early closing of some blood drives.  It has also prevented some of our already scheduled blood donors from being able to travel to the blood drives and honor their appointments.
Additional donors are needed to make up for the shortfall caused by recent snow storms and bitterly cold weather.
While winter weather affects the number of people available to donate, hospital patients still need blood and platelets.
The need for blood is constant – even during severe winter weather.
Please donate so the Red Cross can continue to supply needed blood to cancer patients, children with blood disorders and others.
Call Brenda Kaschmitter or Cheri Holthaus at 962-3251 to schedule an appointment.
