Mardi Gras event set for March 23
The St. Mary’s Hospital Foundation Mardi Gras committee has been hard at work planning this event which will be held on March 23 at the Cottonwood Community Hall.  The event will begin at 5:00 with a social hour followed by dinner, silent and live auctions, dancing and casino games.  The dress for this event is “dressy casual to semi-formal”.
“I am really excited about this event,” said Cheri Holthaus, Development Coordinator for St. Mary’s Hospital.  “We have some great items to auction off including a day hunt for three at the Flying B Ranch, wine tree, raft trip, Silverwood tickets, lottery tree, cedar chest and much more.
Tickets for this event are $35.00 each and are available at St. Mary’s Hospital and the Cottonwood Clinic or by calling Cheri Holthaus at 962-2327. There are a limited number of tickets being sold; so make sure and get yours early.
“This is a Mardi Gras event so the hall will be decorated in bright colors and lights,” said Holthaus.  “Those attending the event will get beads and masks to wear; which will add to the festive atmosphere.  We have ‘stepped up’ the event this year and have added a few extra nice touches.”
“Proceeds from this event will go towards the remodeling of the Emergency Room at St. Mary’s Hospital, “commented Holthaus.  “It may take several years to earn enough money to begin let alone complete this project, but we are hoping for a successful event which will enable us to contribute a nice sum of money to this very worthwhile project.
If anyone would like to donate either cash or an auction item please contact Holthaus at 962-2327.
