Booster Club offers scholarships
Sponsored by the Prairie Booster Club the purpose of the “Cliff Holthaus Memorial Scholarship” is to provide graduates of Prairie High School recognition and financial support in pursuit of a post secondary academic or vocational education.  Four Prairie High graduates will each be awarded a $200 scholarship.  Graduate’s family must be a current  Booster Club member (membership dues paid) and the qualities of leadership, civic involvement, respect of others, volunteer activities, extra-curricular participation, academic achievement and work ethic will be considered.  
One Prairie High School graduate will be awarded a $250 “Maurice Shinn Sportsmanship Scholarship” by writing a 500 word theme on SPORTSMANSHIP.  What sportsmanship means to you and how you have demonstrated sportsmanship through your high school years either as an athlete or a fan.  This scholarship is open to all graduating seniors of Prairie High School who plan to attend a college or university in the fall and whose family is a current Club member (membership dues paid).
