As mentioned in last week’s Chronicle, the coolest place in town is the Library. Come and check it out. Maybe even check out a book or two. New arrivals this week include: Janet Evanovich--Love in a Nutshell Catherine Coulter--The Valcourt Heiress Stephen King--Full Dark No Stars Michael Connelly--The Fifth Witness Scott Turow--Innocent John Julius Norwich--Absolute Monarchs. There are also five new children’s books. Summer reading is coming to a close, so kids be sure to check out books so you will qualify for a prize for being the top reader at the end of the session. WE NEED YOUR HELP! Board member, Dorothy Arnoti is asking for your help in recognizing local people who’s talent may be displayed in the library. There are so much talent in this area and the library would like to recognize those people. If you have someone who has not been featured in the past, please contact Dorothy at 962-3613, and nominate that person to be the guest artisan of the month. |
