A LCSC Display has been set up at US Bank in Cottonwood.  Thank you US Bank for hosting us!  If you get a chance, stop by to look at it and pick up a catalogue if you need one.   Part of the display features candles like those you could make in the Personalized Candles – Simply Done class!
Genealogy and Family History:  An Introduction
Sat. Oct. 5th; 9 am – 4 pm
Instructor:  Dana Elliott; $43
Location:  Grangeville Outreach Center
Tracing your family’s history is a fascinating journey.  Let Dana guide you through the genealogy research process and interpret the information you find.  You will discover where to look, who to contact, and how to make your family history come alive.  Only five seats are left in this class!
Personalized Candles – Simply Done!
Sat. Oct. 5th; 9:30 am – 2:30 pm
Instructor:  Sr. Janet Barnard; $35
Location:  Monastery of St. Gertrude
Early enough to give you time to make gifts for Christmas, learn how to create unique candles using an embossing technique.  Join this fun hands-on class and get in on the secret of how to apply designs into the surface of candles for a special touch.  This process looks a lot more complicated than it really is.  Any graphic you can put on a computer can be placed on a candle.  You’ll take home one or more completed candles.   If you want to see what this process looks like, stop by Cottonwood’s US Bank and look at the candles on display.   Dinner at noon (included in the fee) is in the Monastery dining room.  This class has just three seats left!
