is employee of the month
Faye West; Kamiah Clinic RN was chosen as the September Employee of the Month for St. Mary’s Hospital. 
“Faye is very hospitable, she greets every patient with a smile on her face,” commented a co-worker. Another co-worker said, “She is always willing to jump in and help were needed; she is not only concerned about the well-being of her patients but also that of her co-workers; she is a very compassionate nurse.” When explaining why she became a nurse, Faye responded, “My grandmother, Ruth Shears inspired me through her many years of compassionate care of the patients at St. Mary’s Hospital; plus I truly care about people.” “The people I work with, the caring displayed toward the patients and co-workers,” replied Faye when asked what she likes the most about her job. “Through the worst time of my life my co-workers stood by me and held me up when I needed it. I also thoroughly enjoy working with my provider; I love her sense of humor,” Faye received her nursing degree from Boise State University in 1990 and has worked for the St. Mary’s Kamiah Clinic since 2010. When not working; Faye enjoys skiing, snow shoeing, hiking and square dancing. She has two grown children and one dog. |
