project promotes cancer awareness
Through her senior project, Daun Hoene is promoting cancer awareness. She is conducting a raffle to raise money that will be put into a fund at St. Mary’s Hospital for local cancer patients and their families. This money is intended to be used to help these community members offset costs such as medical bills or travel expenses. Included are six gift basket prizes that range from body and bath to camping. Tickets will be sold at $1.00 each or ten for $9.00 and are available at local businesses around Cottonwood or by contacting Daun Hoene at (208) 507-0297.
