Library News
Things are happening outside and inside the Library.
With the construction happening in the council chambers and throughout the basement, things are also changing inside the library. Progress is being made in the children’s section. A new face lift and re-location will make it more child friendly and appealing to the younger set. This has been a plan of the library board for some time now and because of the tremendous support from the community it is about to become a reality.
Last Tuesday was the beginning of Story Time for the pre-school children and what an exciting time it was. Young and old alike were mesmerized by the wonderful stories as told by “Miss Pollyanna.” She brought to life the characters in each book that included “It’s Mine, When the Fly Flew In, Says Who and several more. When an activity book of “Can you do this” was read, each listener acted out the part, even the adults, as the pictures will tell.
If your child missed this fun filled event, plan to bring them next week. We promise it will be well worth experiencing the fun we are having even with the construction going on. We will be holding our pre-school Story Time every Tuesday morning at 10:30 a.m.

Pollyanna Candalot was the story reader Tuesday, Jan. 14 at the Library. Shown listening from left are Ayla Ratcliff, Lilliane, Clara, baby James and
