Mardi Gras spaghetti feed is March 4
The Verso L’Alto Rome Pilgrimage group has been busy raising money for their trip which will be March 21 through April 4 with 28 people going, youth and chaperones.
Their next big fundraiser is the annual Mardi Gras ( Fat Tuesday) Spaghetti Feed which will be March 4 at the Cottonwood Community Hall.
4:30 to 5 p.m. will be a social time with the dinner scheduled for 5:00 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Tickets are available at the door and are $8 for adults, $5 for grades 1-8, preschool & Kindergartners are free and a family of 5 ticket is $30.
Included will be a live auction, which will start at 6 p.m., a silent auction and a dessert sale.
Wolf Track Brewing will have 3 types of beer available for purchase and there will be wine to purchase as well.
You can also have your spaghetti dinner delivered by calling either Dean at 208-851-5884 or Nathan at 208-507-1579.
Some of the auction items are: 1 night stay for 2 at the Coeur d’Alene Report with $100 dining credit and 2 tickets for a Lake Coeur d’Alene or St. Joe River cruise included; a 45 minute airplane ride for 2 with scenic views of the Camas Prairie, porch swing, wine gift box package with Lustig wine, U of I basket, fresh baked cinnamon rolls once a month for a year.  Lots more, so come to the famous Fat Tuesday, Mardi Gras Spaghetti Feed and check out the food, spirits and fun auction items. The Pilgrimage is being organized by Nick and Cheri McDonough and is more than just a tour, it’s a faith pilgrimage.
Other fundraisers include babysitting, house cleaning, fixing fence, raking leaves, stacking wood, baked food sales, selling cinnamon rolls & chili, and a basketball camp.
They also still have mixed fir firewood to sell. $150 per cord split or $200 per cord, split, stacked and delivered. Call Megan Rehder, 962-3380 to order.
