Duman is new CEDA board chairman
The Clearwater Economic Development Association is pleased to announce new leadership for the Board of Directors, effective April 1, 2014.
Denis Duman, Mayor of the City of Cottonwood, will serve as the Board Chair. Duman has been the Member Representative to CEDA from the City of Cottonwood for many years and has served as the CEDA Vice Chair/Secretary for the past three years.
Dave McGraw, Latah County Commissioner, will now serve as Vice Chair/Secretary. McGraw is also a long-standing member representative with CEDA.
Both men were elected to the leadership positions unanimously at the last CEDA Board of Directors meeting, held March 27, 2014.
Rob Lohrmeyer, Dean of Professional-Technical Programs at Lewis-Clark State College, decided to step down as Chair after serving in the position for the past three years. He will remain active on the Board of Directors and on the organization’s Operations & Finance Council.
“Rob Lohrmeyer was an exceptional Board Chair and he has given countless volunteer hours to the economic betterment of North Central Idaho,” said CEDA Executive Director Christine Frei. “We want to thank him profusely for his past service and for his continuing service with our organization.”
Frei also welcomed Duman and McGraw to their new positions.
“The Chair and Vice Chair positions are critical to CEDA’s success and we are fortunate to have both of these experienced professionals leading our organization,” she said. “We are grateful to these men and everyone who sits on the CEDA Board of Directors and working councils. CEDA’s work could not be done without the dedicated volunteer efforts of many individuals throughout our region.”
