HOSA students compete at state
Prairie High School HOSA (Health Occupation Student Association) members competed at the State Leadership Conference held in Boise April 10-12.
Daun Hoene, Katherine Nida, Rebekah Bruner and Lauren Alfrey of Prairie High School and Kelsie Seitz, Sydney Kuther, and Tianna Leitch of Nezperce High School all competed this year.
Bruner placed third in Nutrition Knowledge testing. Alfrey place second in Veterinary Science and Leitch placed third om Prepared Speaking. All three girls qualified to compete at the National HOSA Conference in Orlando in June.
Prairie HOSA also won the Penny Wars at the State Conference and came home with a trophy.
Leitch ran for state officer and was elected as vice-president for our region for the state of Idaho.
