Khan Academy and reading challenge
The 5th and 6th grade teachers at Prairie Elementary challenged their students to a reading and Khan Academy contest over the summer.
The challenge could be won in Khan Academy based on most points, most skills mastered or most minutes. The winners for this challenge were Ellea Uhlenkott, Tony Goeckner and Evan Schwartz. 
The reading challenge could be won for most books read, most pages read or most hours read. The winners for this challenge were Zach Rambo and Leann Lightfield.  Each won $100 cash which was donated to the students by Marlene Graham (Mrs. Sonnen’s mom).  Congratulations to all the winners.
