Library News
It was a busy week at the library. The new furniture was delivered and things were put into place by a group of Santa’s helpers. They even had time to do some Christmas decorating. Little Jacob Kuther contributed to the activities by helping big sister Katie put the Christmas tree up, sharing his talent in putting the decorations in just the right place.
New books for the Young Adults have been arriving recently. They are ready to be checked out.
If you missed Jean Anglen’s beautiful pottery display while it was in the library, you may now see it at her home. Thanks, Jean, for sharing with us.
To allow time for the carpet to be cleaned and other domestic duties, the Library will be closed from Saturday December 20th until Tuesday January 6th. .
We hope this does not cause an inconvenience to anyone. Returning books may be placed in the drop box during this time.
The question has been asked, “what does the library board do with the money made from the Bräts and Brew?” Monthly expenses and purchasing new books is an ongoing expense. In harmony with the city council, many changes have been made within the library to date. Please come in and see what has been done to make it more user friendly and appealing to the public. If you have suggestions that would enhance it even more, we are open to suggestions. And we do have a nice selection of NEW BOOKS for your reading enjoyment.
