CIAA artists do well at Wallowa Festival
All Central Idaho Art Association (CIAA) artists brought home awards at the juried competition in Joseph, Oregon. The 33rdWallowa Festival of the Arts was held June 5 through 7. Norma Pfaff was awarded the Jon M. Skovlin Memorial Award for Best Wildlife Representation for her oil painting, “Through a Cat’s Eyes”. Her oil, “Wanna Play” won second place in the wildlife competition at Joseph. Ellamae Holes won third place for her oil “Old Man Creek”. David Martin was awarded 2nd place and People’s Choice in photography for “Painted by an Angel”, an early morning image taken in Zion National Park during an autumn storm. His “Two’s a Crowd”,a black and white photo, won an Honorable Merit ribbon.
