Corrections Dept. to hold job fairs
The Idaho Department of Correction is holding two job fairs at Idaho Department of Labor local offices this month to fill openings for correctional officers. The times and locations are:
Orofino: Monday, Aug. 10, 8 a.m. – 10 a.m., 410 Johnson Ave.
Lewiston: Monday, Aug. 17, 8 a.m. – 10 a.m., 1158 Idaho St.
Correction personnel will conduct interviews during the fairs. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age and should bring a completed background investigation questionnaire, which can be found online at http://www.idoc.idaho.gov/content/careers.

Correctional officers receive a starting rate of $13.66 an hour with competitive benefits and an increase to $14.05 after successful completion of entrance probation.
