Booster Bulletin
Hey, Pirate fans.   We are off to another great sport season.   Join us at the Football field on Friday for an exciting matchup with Lapwai.   The Burger Barn will be open a serving at 6pm and we will have clothing sales available.   We have some cool Pirate Pride tee-shirts for $12 each.   These come in youth sizes and adult sizes.   Also available will be some great deals on some hood less sweatshirts and other tee-shirts.  We will also have available a few of the new Black and Red sweatshirts for $42.  You have been asking for them and they should be at the game.  Pirate ball caps for $15.   Also the 50/50 tickets will be on sale, the pot has been in the vicinity of $100, so join in and see if you can take home the winnings.
Next week the exciting Prairie Volleyball team takes on its two biggest competitors.   The league title comes down to these matchups.  Prairie has beaten both teams this season but after watching both of these previous games, nothing should be taken for granted.   Don’t miss the exciting action in the Pirates home gym on Tuesday.   If you haven’t seen a game in a while, come support these very talented young ladies.
Also running in your neighborhood is the 11 person Cross Country team from Prairie High School.  Give us a shout out and encourage these runners.   I would ask you to write down the 10th of October for a fun fundraising night at the Football Field.   Prairie XC is planning a family movie night out doors with the team running laps and McFarland USA playing on an outdoor screen.   Pack your lawn chairs and your blankets and come join us for an informational and fun evening.   Movie will start shortly after dark and some food will be available.   Be on the lookout for more information, poor weather will cancel this event.
The Booster club is looking for people who want to be active in our organization.   We need people to come to meetings and participate in events and fundraising.   We also need people who are willing to cook at the burger barn.   It looks like Prairie’s schedule might be extended into the post season and we may be hosting a playoff game or two.   So please continue your support of our Prairie Schools in whatever capacity you can and if you feel the urge to do more contact Denise Uhlenkott or Cara Uhlenkott or Linda Nida or myself.  We would be happy to welcome you into the crazy world of the Prairie Booster Club.
As always, “Go Pirates”.
