at Glenns Ferry Tournament
The Prairie Baseball team will be taking part in the Glenns Ferry Wooden Bat Tournament this Friday and Saturday, April 8-9. Prairie will play 3 games at the tournament, all at the Glenns Ferry High School baseball field. Their first game is set for 2 p.m. MDT (1 p.m. PDT) Friday, April 8 against Malad. That will be their only game on Friday. They have two games on Saturday with the first one taking place at 9 a.m. MDT against Soda Springs. Their second game on Saturday and final game of the tournament will be the next game following as they will play Nampa Christian at 11:30 a.m. Games have a 2 hour time limit so that they will have 30 minutes to prep the field for the next game. All three of their opponents are Class 2A schools. After the games are over an All-Tournament team will be selected although with the final game not starting until 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Prairie will likely be long gone before the all-tournament team is named.
