State Baseball
The Prairie baseball team will open state tournament play against Wilder at 10 a.m. PDT Friday, May 20 at Wolfe Field in Caldwell.
Potlatch plays Horseshoe Bend at 8 a.m. PDT.
The two loser will play at noon PDT while the winners play at 2 p.m. PDT.
The 2 p.m. loser will play the noon winner at 8 a.m. Saturday, May 21. The winner of that game will play again at 10 a.m. PDT on Saturday. If the 1-loss team should win that game, another game will be played at noon in a winner-take-all championship game.
State Softball
The Prairie Lady Pirates will open state tournament action against Notus, the District 3-4 #2 seed at 9 a.m. PDT Friday, May 20 at Quad Park in Caldwell.
If they win they would play Genesee, who got a first round bye, at 11 a.m. PDT.
With a loss they would play at 1 p.m. PDT against the loser of the second round game in the other half of the bracket.
Potlatch opens against Glenns Ferry and the winner of that game plays Horseshoe Bend, who like Genesee, has a first round bye as a district champion.
The last game on Friday will be a winners bracket game at 3 p.m. PDT. 
The two losers bracket survivors play at 9 a.m. PDT on Saturday with the winner of that game playing the winners bracket loser at 11 a.m. PDT on Saturday. That winner advances to the championship game at 1 p.m. PDT and if the 1 loss team wins then a winner take all game would be held at 3 p.m. PDT.
State Track
The 1-A State Track Meet will be held May 20-21 at Middleton High School along with the 2-A and 3-A state meets.
Isaiah Shears, Prairie’s only boys team qualifier, will compete in the first flight of the discus competition at 1:30 p.m. (all times MDT).
For the girls team, Chaye Uptmor and Kristyna Krogh will compete in the first running event of the day, the 3200, which will start at 9:30 a.m.
Mykaela McWilliams will compete on Friday in the first flight of the girls long jump, which is set to start at 3 p.m.
She will also have the 100 meter hurdles prelims where she will run in the second heat. The first heat starts at 3:30 p.m. She will also compete in the 300 hurdle prelims later in the afternoon. She is also in the second heat in that competition.
Also later in the afternoon Laney Uhlenkott will compete in the 400 meter dash prelims in the first heat and after the 300 meter hurdle prelims, the 200 meter prelims will be held with Uhlenkott in the first heat.
On Saturday the Parade of Athletes will be held at 11:30 a.m.
The 100 meter hurdles finals are set to start at 12:30 p.m.
After the boys 110 meter hurdles finals Prairie will have a team in the 4x200 meter relay final.
Next is the 100 meter dash final then Uptmor and Jordyn Higgins will be competing in the 800 meter run final.
After that is the 4x100 relay then the 400 meter dash final.
After the 400 there will be a 20-minute break then the 300 hurdles finals will be held, followed by the 200 and then the 1600 with Uptmor and Krogh competing.
The final event is the 4x400 meter relay in which Prairie has a team entered.
