Prairie holds awards assembly
The Prairie High School awards assembly was held last Thursday at the school. 
Following are awards given out: 
The student body officers each received an award for their service. They were: Brandon Higgins, student body president; Talyss Lustig, student body vice-president; Sierra Latimer, student body secretary/treasurer and Ryan Glimp and Madison Ulmer, Spirit Leaders. 
Members of the Idaho County Cadet Program were recognized. They were Calvin Hinkelman, Bobby Hood, Isaiah Shears and Hunter Hasselstrom. 
Talyss Lustig received the Idaho/Lewis County Cattle Association award. 
The following awards were made by the Prairie Booster Club: Madison Ulmer was named student booster of the year. Gus Hoene was named booster of the year. 
Booster Club Honor Roll awards for highest honors went to: Jake Bruner, Krista Hess, Sierra Latimer, Marisa Lustig, Talyss Lustig, Thomas Schwartz, Sarah Seubert, Kaitlin Stubbers, and Abbie Uhlenkott in the senior class; Grant Gehring, Lindsey Goeckner, Pedro Marcatto, Tyson Schlader, Madison Ulmer and Chaye Uptmor in the junior class; Dereck Arnzen, Sydney Bruner, Leah Higgins, Anthony Karel, Josie Peery, Jace Perrin, Molly Schwartz and Alexis Shears in the sophomore class and Garrett Crenshaw, Kendra Duclos, Emma Gehring, Jordyn Higgins, Kristyna Krogh, Kate Lustig, Sabrina Lustig, Madison Pecarovich, Calli Perrin, Ellea Poxleitner, Noelle Uhlenkott and James Villamor in the freshman class. 
Booster Club Honor Roll awards for high honors (3.5-3.99 grade point average) went to Hailey Danly, Brandon Higgins, Calvin Hinkelman, Robert Hood, Daniel Mager, Maria Munger, Ashlee Stubbers, Krystin Uhlenkott and Shayla VonBargen in the senior class; Brandon Anderson, Noah Arnzen, Selena Davila, Haley Enneking, Darlene Gehring, Ryan Glimp, Stephanie Jungert, Todd Ott, Nicole Poxleitner, Laina Sonnen, Kylie Tidwell, Faith Uhlenkott and Lucas Wemhoff in the junior class; Alexus Crane, Brandon Latimer, Trista Latimer, Sierah Poxleitner, Sarah Ross, Luke Schwartz, Delaney Uhlenkott and Angela Wemhoff in the sophomore class and Madison Hinkelman, Hope McIntire, Kace Munger, Tayler Ott, 
Devin Ross, Dylan Schumacher, Spencer Schumacher, Michael Schwartz, Paul Sonnen and Theresa Wemhoff in the freshman class. 
Knowledge Bowl Most Valuable awarde went to Pedro Marcatto. 
Band awards went to Ryan Arnzen, Kendal Betts, Drew Dinning and James Villamor. 
Physical Science Awards went to Jordyn Higgins, Emma Gehring and Madison Pecarovich. 
Biology awards went to Kristyna Krogh, Sydney Bruner, Anthony Karel, Leah Higgins and Brandon Latimer. 
Natural Science awards went to A.J. Everson and Cole Frei. 
Sewing awards: Needle & thread-new generation quilters-Alexus Crane and Cheyenne Mauer. Golden Needle & Thread-Top Quilter-Stephanie Jungert, Haley Enneking and Molly Schwartz. Perseverance Quilters: Made it 4 years-Krista Hess, Marisa Lustig, Talyss Lustig, Hailey Danly, Abbie Uhlenkott and Lauren Alfrey. Teacher’s Award (sewing): Talyss Lustig, Hailey Danly and Lindsey Goeckner. Most improved (sewing): Maria Schmidt and Ashlee Stubbers. 
Interscholastic Star Award-Chaye Uptmor. 
Students of the month: September-Haley Enneking and Jake Bruner; October-Lindsey Goeckner and Daniel Mager; November-Noah Arnzen and Josie Peery; December-Kindall Betts and Anthony Karel; January-Daniel Leonard and Molly Schwartz; February-Stephanie Jungert and Todd Ott; March-Calvin Hinkelman, Jade Peery and Sierra Latimer; April-Krystin Uhlenkott and Trista Latimer; May-Tucker Hibbard and William Wimer.
