Forest Landowner field day set
A forest landowner field day will be held at the Reggear Tree Farm near Orofino Idaho, June 25th. Family forest landowners and anyone interested in learning about stewardship of forestlands will gain valuable information. Demonstrations, classes and exhibitors will be available throughout the day. Participants can choose from a variety of classes and activities taught by specialists that includes plant/shrub identification, soil health, wildlife, tree planting, forest insects and disease, thinning and pruning, forest practices rules, log scaling and marketing, financial assistance programs, forest planning, chainsaw and logging safety and fuel break development. Project Learning Tree will provide youth activities. Come experience a day in the woods on this award-winning Tree Farm.  It will be an enjoyable and fun day in the woods for the whole family.
Early registration by Friday, June 17th is$20.00 per person or$30.00 for a family of two or more. An optional catered lunch is available with early registration.   After that date, on-site registration is $30 per person or $40 per family of two.
