compete in Fun Run
There were 103 participants in the Raspberry Festival Fun Run with 87 in the 5K race and an additional 16 in the 10K race. Dylan Mader of Lewiston was the top finisher in the 5K race. The 15 year old had a time of 23:04. Right behind him was the top female finisher and 2nd overall, Emma Stommen of Meridian. The 10 year old, who was featured in the Chronicle prior to last year’s Raspberry Festival, had a time of 23:18. Third was Mason McHugh, age 12, of Meridian in 23:42 with Jenny Arnzen of Cottonwood, age 39, fourth in 23:43 and Ryan James of Yakima, age 17, fifth in 24:22. Dylan Mader was the overall first place finisher in the 5K portion of the Raspberry Festival Fun Run. He is the 15 year old son of Greg and Rhonda Mader of Lewiston and is the grandson of Ingrid Mader and Vern and Lynn Sonnen of Cottonwood. 
Emma Strommen, age 10 of Meridian, was just 14 seconds behind Mader and was the first female finisher in the 5K run. She was featured in the Chronicle prior to last year's Raspberry Festival.
