and Field project update
If you have been by the football field in Cottonwood over the past few days you have seen the transforming work being done on the track and field project. A huge thank you to Valley Paving, the Cottonwood School District and all those who have been involved in making this vision a reality. To help celebrate this project and the culmination of the 100 Mile Summer Fitness Challenge, there will be a gathering at the track on Saturday, August 20th at 8:00 a.m. We will have some prizes to hand out to contestants of the challenge of all ages and would like to just take some time to get together and thank everyone who has been involved. If you are in Cottonwood this weekend, stop by and help us celebrate. We will try to conclude by 8:45 a.m. for all of those involved in the fair and the morning parade.

Sign-ups for the Camas Prairie Youth football players in 3rd-6th grades will be at the Prairie Elementary School Open House on Wednesday, August 24th from 6:00-7:30. Cost will remain the same at $50.00, which includes the use of shoulder pads, helmet, and jersey. First practice will be at the football field from 5:30-7:00 on August 29th.
