Rye is Employee of the Month
The Customer Service team at St. Mary’s Hospital selected Chad Rye as the August Employee of the Month. He was hired in March of 2016as the Respiratory Therapist. Chad’s nomination form says “Chad is a very positive person who is always helpful to anyone that needs it. Also the patients seem to respond to him very positively.” Chad’s co-worker that nominated him goes on to say “Chad is always upbeat and cheerful, and he never seems to be in a bad mood.” Chad received his education at Boise State University, graduating in 1993. He was the President of the Idaho Society for Respiratory care and represented Idaho on the nation level. When asked why he decided to go into this profession, he said “I was always interested in getting into a medical field of some sort, and this seemed like the perfect fit”. He went on to say “I love the interaction with the patient’s and my co-workers”. Chad and his wife Rabecca have been married for 5 years. Rabecca works at Inland Cellular in Lewiston. Together they have a 15 year old son named Caidyn that attends Clarkston High School. They also have 3 other members of their family, Max, Miley and the baby Matrix who are their adorable little Shih Tzu’s. When asked about his hobbies Chad says that he loves hunting, fishing& weightlifting. Congratulations Chad! Thank you for all of your hard work and service to SMH.
