Day program at PHS
The Cottonwood School District will present a program for Veterans on Friday, November 11th @ 9:00 a.m. in the Prairie Jr. Sr. High School Gym. All Veterans and their family members are invited. Parents and the public are welcome to attend too. FFA will be providing a breakfast for the Veterans starting at 7:00 a.m. on the stage in the gym. We have a slide show to honor our Veterans. We do have a collection of pictures of Veterans from previous years. If you would like to add to our slide show, or update a picture from a previous year, then please send or email a picture of a Veteran in your family, or a Veteran friend of your family to Laurie Karel at karel@sd242.org We need all pictures sent by November 9th in order to put them into the slide show. This year at the Veterans Day program, 15-20 Veterans will be recognized with a Quilt of Valor made for them. Please feel free to share this invitation with any Veteran that you might know and invite them to our program.
