Dec. 26, 2016 Opening day at the Cottonwood Butte was bursting with skiers and a new record was made with 179 skiers, the previous being 171. The snow had a beautiful light and fluffy texture and all the trails were groomed to perfection. We are open throughout the rest of this week (Dec. 26-Dec. 30) and this weekend (Dec. 31-Jan. 1) 10 am to 4 pm. Also, we offer ski and snow board rentals, ski lessons, and a lunch counter. So, what are you waiting for, come escape to the Cottonwood Butte Ski Area!
