Old Elementary building to be discussed
The Cottonwood School District would like to open a discussion with local stakeholders on how to cleanup and reuse the old Prairie Elementary school building (907 Lewiston Street).
With support from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, a small team of local, state and federal staff and technical assistance contractors will be in Cottonwood on March 14-15, 2017 to help host this discussion alongside local leads Rene Forsmann, Superintendent; Christine Frei, CEDA; and Steve Gill, EPA.   The team would like to meet with various stakeholders across the city, review the building structure and existing conditions, and use this information to start exploring possible future reuse options for the building. If you would like to be part of this discussion or share your ideas, please contact Rene Forsmann at 208-962-3971 or attend a community meeting.
