Annual Purse Auction set for April 23
The 3rd annual Purse Auction sponsored by The Hangout and the YWCA is set for Sunday, April 23 at Cottonwood Community Hall. Doors will open at noon and the auction will start at 2 p.m. Donation items are needed such as purses, bags, backpacks, etc., either filled or empty. You can also donated gift certificates, cash or other items that can be used to fill a “purse.” Donations can be dropped off at The Hangout, Grangeville Flower Shop, Inland Cellular in Grangeville, YWCA office in Grangeville or Kamiah, USDA Office in Nezperce, Cottonwood Community Credit Union in Craigmont and the Riggins Whitewater Market. All donations are tax deductible. 100% of the proceeds go to domestic violence and sexual assault victims in Idaho County. There will also be a lunch served of hot dogs, beans, cole slaw, potato salad, dessert and either lemonade, coffee or ice tea to drink. |
